1. Zero Personal Data Collection

This platform is an independent student-led side project. We do not require registration, do not manage user accounts, and do not collect, harvest, store, or sell any personal identifying information (PII) from website visitors or API consumers.

2. Public Transit Telemetry

The geographic coordinates, vehicle speeds, route paths, and stop descriptors processed by this gateway are aggregated through transit telemetry transponders and sensors for community and developer accessibility. No passenger or driver personal information is ever monitored, logged, or exposed.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use zero tracking or advertising cookies. The only client storage utilized is standard browser localStorage to remember whether you have acknowledged the initial student disclaimer notice, avoiding repeated popups on return visits.

4. Security & Rate Limiting Logs

To prevent upstream overload and shield the server against automated denial-of-service abuse, client IP addresses are temporarily hashed or evaluated in transient memory to enforce a standard rate-limit window (120 requests/minute). These metrics are automatically purged and are never shared.

5. Third-Party Integrations

This API gateway feeds and supports the SkwelaDabaw App (skweladabaw.kurzyrio.site). External map rendering relies on OpenStreetMap public tile layers subject to OpenStreetMap's standard usage terms.
